SERVICES IN:

• • Plan Reviews 
    We are registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to provide reviews of construction documents for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) for both private and publicly funded projects as well as state leases. We also provide reviews of construction documents for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), ANSI A117.1, and the Fair Housing Act. Every project is either personally reviewed by Brian Stanton or by one of the firm’s accessibility specialists with Brian’s direct oversight and supervision. This results in reviews that are consistent and reliable. We will review a project within 24 hours when requested at no additional expense.

• • Inspections
    We are registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to provide inspections of buildings for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) for both private and publicly funded projects as well as state leases. We also provide inspections for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and ANSI A117.1. Virtually every project is personally inspected by Brian Stanton. He understands the challenges in complying with the regulations and applies pragmatic and sensible interpretations of the regulations to the real world applications without compromise to the laws which he is required to uphold.

• • Existing Facility Compliance Surveys & Reports 
    We provide compliance surveys on existing facilities to identify areas of a building or site that are not compliant with various accessibility regulations including the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), ANSI A117.1, and the Fair Housing Act. We also prepare comprehensive, detailed reports with findings, recommendations, budget projections and photographs. We offer assistance with establishing a compliance strategy to better implement the requirements of the law and preparing construction documents and specifications for making necessary modifications.

• • Accessibility Code Counseling Services 
    We offer code counseling services relating to various accessibility regulations including the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), ANSI A117.1, and the Fair Housing Act. This includes assistance during the design phase of a project to help identify areas of nonconformance with the standards and guidelines and to provide design solutions to correct non-conforming conditions. We also offer assistance during construction to assure compliance with the contract documents and the accessibility standards and guidelines. We are always willing to serve as a technical resource to answer questions related to accessibility issues.
